Hi, odd question..
occasionally in english there are suffixes like -tastic [e.g paw-tastic or something]

does anything like that exist in japanese?

It definitely does. I can only think of one, but that's because my vocab is very limited, not because there aren't others: check the third definition of 祭り.

I'm reading a book where one character (a goofy gamer) says things like:

「なんだいやなりだぜ」

わったんだし、いいじゃねぇかり」

or even (he's an over-the-top kind of guy):

って!! たってるり!」

I often hear people use 臭い in its 5th sense. Usually you just slap it onto a noun to mean ~ish. Like it gives off that vibe/feeling. Can't think of anything else. You're probably not asking for the obvious stuff like っぽい, or .

PS: Using い like that is quite slangy, just so you know. Here's one example that's common enough to have an entry 田舎臭い.

Edit: Oh, I just remembered ~すぎ. That kinda fits. You just slap it on any noun you wanna hype up.
