Hello,

Will my vocabulary decks test both active (typing in the answer) and passive recognition of vocabulary? I have been trying it out but I would like to know that to level up my mastery, I have to be able to actively recall the word. Right now it seems it only tests some words on active recall while most of them are still in sentence questions.

You have the Meaning->Japanese vector, and the Type/write when possible option set, so you should get those questions.

To ensure that it only levels up the term after you mastered all the vectors, in the settings go into Advanced Settings, and set the Study style to "slow and thorough"

Thank you very much! I'm happy that it's an option to get those questions for every word, as I noticed actively recalling words is 10 times more difficult. kao_worry.png
