do you want to earn and have motivation? If yes, then it’s fun but if you give up easily, might not be for you since it has a lot of different kanji similar to Chinese in a way I guess
Anything can be easy if you have the determination to do it. Won't be easy when you think it isn't easy.
Whenever you're interested in something, studying it becomes much easier. For me, I personally find the Japanese language intriguing, so it's easy for me. It has lots of memorization and complicated grammar concepts involved, so I think that's why it's considered one of the hardest languages to learn.
Not easy, but imo, pretty fun to learn, since there are many different aspects to it. Like with the two kanas and kanji it scratches parts of your brain that other languages don’t really do. Feels super rewarding when you start to understand stuff.
If you don't keep with it and have a "okay, I'm going to do this to the best of my abilities!!" mindset then anything would be hard. Not just Japanese. I believe that wether or not something is hard depends on the person's attitude towards the thing they are trying to accomplish. If you stick with it and don't give up then I'm sure you'll have fun learning this language! Good luck and best wishes!
Personally I don't think learning any new language is easy but it's so rewarding to be able to communicate or read something in another language. I think if you treat learning Japanese as a long marathon instead of a short sprint, it will be a lot easier to take in. That is, progress will slowly but surely be made. Ganbatte!
as long as you have a strong motivation to learn, it will be fun even when it's challenging! I'm learning both Japanese and German right now, and even though German is much closer to my native language of English, I'm pretty much just taking it for the sake of taking it, and it can feel like a real slog some days. meanwhile, I have anime and j-pop to motivate me with Japanese, so on a bad day I can remind myself, "if we keep practicing, we can watch this without subtitles!" and push through it. it's all about what you put into it, really. best of luck if you want to try learning!
