http://www.realkana.com/ http://www.realkanji.com/ < I've been enjoying this one lately
These two are FANTASTIC for a beginer learning kana - http://www.csus.edu/indiv/s/sheaa/projects/genki/hiragana-timer.html http://www.csus.edu/indiv/s/sheaa/projects/genki/katakana-timer.html
I always feel guilty, because I see other sites and think, "hmm, I wonder if I can use some of those features in my site". I have for a long time wanted to allow user-built vocab lists (thematic lists, etc), but I've never been able to think of a good way to implement it into the current site's design.
I do find it very interesting that the realkanji and (presumably, I didn't look) the realkana sites allow you to not have japanese input enabled, and still enter stuff into the site. I wonder if that would be useful for the fill-in-the-blank quizzes on renshuu.org
I really wish I could quit my job for about a month and just work like crazy on renshuu.org and get everything done *laughs*
