Does anyone know how often (generally speaking) renshuu is updated against JMdict?

Probably a couple times a year. Definitely not as often as something like Jisho.

Roughly once a year. Unlike jisho, it's not a clean replacement, as renshuu also has data from other sources, adjusted content, etc., so it has a bit more hand-holding involved.
