I’m trying to configure Renshuu to make the most of the SRS, but I’m having some trouble figuring out how to do that. What I’m trying to achieve is:
To have Renshuu notify me whenever I have reviews for any of my lists, preferably hourly when available (like Wanikani or Bunpro does). As is, I have all system (iOS) and app setting enabled, but don’t receive any notifications for anything even when reviews are available.
In an ideal scenario, I would get a notification of the number of reviews available in the morning, go complete all the reviews for my lists and learn “x” number of new items. Then get notifications each hour as the number of reviews build, then repeat the cycle of completing reviews and learning “x” new items each time whenever I can get the time to practice.
I’m pretty new to Renshuu, so apologies if this is something obvious I’ve overlooked. This is a phenomenal app so far, and these are strictly ideal QoL features for me, so no biggie if this isn’t possible what with the multiple lists Renshuu works off of!
Schedules refresh a few hours after midnight (check your settings), and no additional reviews get added throughout the day. You can see the SRS intervals in Advanced settings for each individual schedule.
You can technically complete all of them right after reset and have nothing to do for the rest of the day. Excluding learning new terms of course. Nothing's stopping you from learning as many as you'd like.
Edit: You can also do "Focused Reviews" from the three vertical dots next to your schedules. Figured I'd mention those, so it doesn't sound like there's nothing to do.

Thanks for the reply! I guess I’m used to clearing all of my Wanikani and Bunpro reviews when they’re available, so I’ve been clearing all of my Renshuu reviews at once.
I’ll give the focused reviews a look periodically!
