Hi I recently started to beginner kanji schedule before I was meant to as I wanted to begin learning some kanji to get ahead. However I am also learning the Japanese Basics vocab and it has no removed the kana translations and replaced them with kanji. Does anyone know how I could keep my vocab as just hirigana/katakana rather than having renshuu use Kanji in the examples?

I don't know if this is the simplest way, it's just the one that comes to mind: you could reset the kanji schedule's mastery. Tap on its name, then the little cogwheel, then "More settings", then scroll to the bottom, tap "Advanced settings", scroll all the way to the bottom and there will be a button reading "Reset schedule". This will set all the mastery levels of the kanji in it to zero, as if you've never seen them. Then, when you're ready, you can start it again.

Try marking your studied kanji as "unknown" (unlit lightbulb).

The quickest way is to do so is going to Tools:

Tools → Kanji Index → Kanji I know → Mark all as [unlit lightbulb]

These will all remove the user's data, though, which I do not think they want.

Try this: menu > settings > vocabulary. There is a section which says "What kanji should be displayed in vocabulary" - uncheck the "kanji I study on renshuu" option :)
