I'm a japanese student in University and I'm wondering what apps are most useful for japanese studying, so here I am asking everyone in the renshuu community.

Honestly, it's definitely renshuu

honestly renshuu & anki for me... and I dont even use renshuu app, just mobile web on android... works great just in browser

anki is what i was using before and I still use anki because I can customize my own cards and fine-tune the algorithm but im really liking renshuu especially with how the grammar schedules integrate with the vocab all at once... with anki i have to do a lot of work setting up addons and writing css and python code and everything which is ok for me but its still annoying... renshuu just works which is amazeee

there are other apps and websites that specialize in certain specific things like 漢字の構成要素 kanji composition (jpdb is a freemium website like renshuu for that) if u need to learn kanji altho u can still do that here or with anki.
