I realized that every time I go to the add/remove materials section for my vocab list, and select to add terms individually, there are almost 100 words being removed from my study schedule under "Removed from list".
I noticed this as there were some common words not showing up in my schedule like 風/かぜ. It turned out this among others was in this long list of terms being removed every time I updated my vocabulary materials. Every time I go in to add/remove materials, this list fully populates again with "Removed from list" terms i.e. I can't update my materials and click save without having to go in and add all these terms one by one again.
I assumed this might be part of the duplicate/standard reading wipe recently, but given basic terms like 風/かぜ I wondered if this was the case.
So sorry for the delay! Do you mind letting me know the name of the schedule with this issue, and a screenshot of the top of the list?
Also, just to clarify: so your schedule *Should* have 風 (for example) in it, and it indeed comes in up in studies. However, if you go into add/remove, it'll appear in "removed", and if you save on that page, it gets removed?
The schedule was a custom vocabulary schedule I'd made.
What you're describing, that's how it was functioning. However, when trying to replicate it just now, it stopped behaving this way i.e. I went into my add/remove materials list, saw all the removed terms, added them, hit save, and now they're just in the program.
Previously they would be removed when I hit save / initially they'd been removed without me doing so as well.
Sorry for the confusing description and not being to replicate it. Will follow up should this arise again!
Unfortunately, I return! When adding words today (to the schedule titled "All the Warriors"), I noticed one pop up as removed again:
It was only one, and I re-added it. Wondering if the longer list from before was just an accumulation of this happening? This like with 風 before is a word that I've had in there for a bit, and didn't modify in anyway (at least that I'm aware of 0.0)
Any idea why this may be? Any adtl. info I can provide?
Welcome back! Unfortunately, what we're going to need is a reproducible set of steps to create it. If you see it again, *do not* save the list, just close the window. Try going back in and repeating what you just did. If it happens again, then we're in business! Again, without saving, write down the exact steps you took, then reply here.
Edit: it could possibly be tied to the specific condition that a list is in, what's in it, etc., so if you go in and save after making the report, it could "destroy" the conditions needed to replicate it.
