Does anyone have experience buying Japanese textbooks for Kindle?

What is the user experience like in terms of readability and, most importantly, compatibility?

For example, how is the Shin Kanzen Master series on Kindle?

I do have a kindle but for me it's like reading the same as a book but in an electronic form. What I feel is best is that you can tap on the words for definition or translate the lines in whatever language.
