When I feel that I can take in more in a day than usual...
Q: Can I for example get Renshuu into a state as if we go to the next day?
Details: I see that the lowest section with grammar terms has an exceptional dialog to go to the next topic. That may also work for kanji / vocabulary if there's such an option, still, I guess then my progress and recommended material to learn together would "get out of sync" anyway.
You can do "Focused Review" once you have cleared a schedule for the day, by clicking the button on a cleared schedule
However, it is not recommended to "forward time to tomorrow", because that is against the nature of Spaced Repetition System (SRS), which is the core method renshuu is using!
With SRS, you're expected to start forgetting the things you have learned, and then just as you are about to forget, it will quiz you again to keep you remember! If you get something wrong, the term will show up more often to help you remember it stronger.
Using this loop, soon you will be able to remember the term for a very long time before it needs to quiz you again!
Also, as a side note, you need to be cautious of overstudying. Your brain needs a good night sleep to solidify your newly gained knowledge, so by studying "less" you can gain "more"
It's not "a state as if we go to the next day", but you can check out a few of the settings under "Settings" > "More settings:
There really isn't anything stopping you from learning however much/little you'd like. For example, I could technically "learn" all 23k word in this schedule in one day:
Having said that, Grammar and Words are usually in sync, so I'd be careful not to mess with that too much. Doesn't really matter much for Kanji, assuming you don't overwhelm yourself that is.
PS: I agree that overstudying is something to be mindful of :)
You'll also get absolutely drowned in daily reviews if you're not careful
