It does not - there is not really "official" vocabulary, and using stuff from those books would be copyright infringement.
The kanken vocab lists were made ages ago by pulling up the necessary readings for each kanji, and then trying to get the most common words for them.
To be honest, I can not recommend those lists anymore. The "vocab helper schedule" that you can attach to any kanji schedule (tap the ... under the kanji sched.) does the same thing, and is far more powerful and customizable.
I added a Kanji Kentei word schedule recently and was going to make a kanji helper schedule for it- are you saying that's not a great idea? Should I add the Kanji Kentei kanji schedule and make a word helper for it instead? Is there a big difference?
The kanji schedules are based on the official lists, so it is best to use them (especially if you are actually going to take the test at some point), and then have a vocab helper sched feed off of that.
