I've been studying words for a while now. But there is just one issue that i encounter and it's that whenever i do a quiz for words, it includes both Hiragana and Katakana in one of the quizzes. It's starting to get a bit annoying from time to time and i am here to ask if i can remove both of them when taking a quiz since i am already comfortable with reading both. I have also tried editing settings inside the word section but it still keeps popping and i don't know why it's still there.
Are you talking about the individual characters? You can remove the Hiragana and Katakana schedules when you're done with them. Assuming you haven't merged them into "Words for Japanese Basics" that is. It's under "Settings" > "More settings" > "Remove Schedule".
You can also hide terms from the "eye" icon. Either after you answer a question, from the dictionary, from the list view of a schedule (Tinker mode lets you do this in bulk), or from Resources > Advanced Search (a little more complicated).
If you're talking about how words are displayed (kana / kana + furigana / kanji), you can try changing your global settings. Although it looks like you haven't learned any kanji yet, so you're probably fine with seeing kana?

1. If you tap the View Terms link for the word schedule, then search for (for example), ず, does the hiragana or katakana term appear? If so, then those terms were indeed merged into word schedule.
2. Alternately, tap the settings link for the schedule, then more settings. There are two sliders in there for bringing in terms from external sources. Are either of those turned on?
Hi everyone! I did remove both the Katana and Hiragana schedules thinking that it wont appear in any quizzes but it turns out it does still appear. After reading your responses, i realized that i didn't actually hid them all so i manually hid them one by one and now it's finally not appearing in quizzes anymore. It's honestly bit embarrassing to find out that all i had to do was to hide them both and I've been using Renshuu for a few months now :(. Anyways the issue is resolved and i can now quiz without them adding more into my quizzes. Thanks for your help everyone!
