So I understand that im new here but even looking at renshhu's help its not making sense if anyone could help me understand because I feel that if I understood these games I would be able you learn more if anyone else has the same problem don't be afraid so ask for help here maybe we can figure it out together thanks love yall.
Shiritori 尻取り(しりとり) is a word-chain game where players must play a word starting with the last syllable of the previous word that's been played. For example:
(on renshuu there's an additional rule allowing you to overlap more than one character)
Shiritori Cat is just the single-player version. You can find the rules here (?) after you start a game:
Counter Punch is there to help you in both learning and memorising the usage of counters in Japanese. There are many different counter words in Japanese, each used to count objects of different "categories". For example:
- 枚/まい is a counter that is attached to a number when you are counting flat objects.
- 本/ほん is a counter that is attached to a number when you are counting long, cylindrical objects.
- 匹/ひき is a counter that is attached to a number when you are counting small animals/insects.
You'll get an explanation and overview of the counter when you hit "Play". Your goal is to pick the correct reading for the number of objects :)

Crosswords are more of less just crosswords, but in Japanese.
