I've set some of my vocabulary schedules to 'Type/Write answer when possible' and restricted it to a high mastery level since I've thought it's helpful to know how to write the word at some point.
However when I actually need to write the word, I realize I have no clue how to draw some of the kanji since i don't have the writing study vector enabled on my kanji schedules. Enabling it warns me that more than 3 study vector can significantly slow down the study progress, but i already have the most important 'Meaning/Onyomi/Kunyomi' vectors enabled.
Does anybody have experience with what the best setup is to slowly introduce writing at a higher mastery level without making it a top priority?
Yes, I can also type in the word on the keyboard using hiragana and select the kanji I recognize, but this feels a bit like cheating as it does not train handwriting.
What I like to do is (also because I'm not a pro user) is to enable the definition -> type/write option in my kanji schedules, and draw it there using the drawing pad, and just type the word on my keyboard in vocabulary schedules. I'm pretty confident in knowing what words use what kanji, so I only study writing kanji in my kanji schedules. This way, I also remember the reading of the word a bit better:)
