(I'm placing the japanese characters/English pronunciation and it auto turns my English into japanese,so what's the problem?,it says only words in dictionary)
What words were you trying to play? Did they correctly overlap with the cat's words?
maybe a bit of a silly question, but are you sure you played real words and not just random kana?
You are just using your regular QWERTY keyboard that is converting your typing from romaji to Japanese. This has nothing to do with the game. Using a keyboard that produces real Japanese input won't make a difference either.
The game requires that you use the last character(s) of the word that is given, to be used for the beginning of that word. You can't be making up words, and you can't use words that break the chain. It's not about sounds. It's real words. That is all.
You use the last letter of the word that they give you, and you use that letter at the start of your word. Hope this helps!

So I have to make a word using the last letter of the cats own word?
@New local yes
If the word you typed in doesn't exist, you'll lose a bit of your health bar. The game can go forever, in theory, but eventually you will run out of words to use. It's about setting your own record and practicing
GD_V (or anyone else who knows), I'm not OP but can you explain about the health bar. Is that the green bar on the top left? Also, what is the red bar on the top right called? How do the red and green bars actually work?
@pup72 It's pretty simple. The green bar is your own HP, the red bar is the HP of the current enemy.
Playing anything that's not allowed damages your HP. Playing words that overlap by one character damages the enemy. Enemies take more damage from words that overlap by 2+ characters.
(not allowed = words not in the dictionary, words ending in ん、ー、 etc., words that have already been played this round, and so on)
PS: I don't think they have "official" names. If you look at the code, both HP bars are tagged as ".monster_gauge", your bar is under ".hero_box", and the enemy's bar is under ".enemy_box" (simplified, since I doubt anyone cares about the correct coding terminology XD)
So I guess you could say that you're the "Hero" fighting "Monsters"
This is really interesting, thanks ギョルギ九十三. Sometimes I end a game by intentionally playing a word I already played (in order to get gold coins from the Kao Garden quests.) But I could probably just play anything that's not allowed, to damage the green health bar
