I am currently studying new vocabulary in Pre-Advanced schedule and merged the N5-N3 vocabulary into a review schedule. As time passed the number of daily reviews in the latter decreased from around 150-160 to a comfortable level of ~60. But suddenly yesterday i saw 304. Done that. Today it's 330+. And all these words are the oldest and easiest mostly, so it does not take that much time. But generally - is it normal? Would I correct some settings? Will it go away in a while?
Yes, when you initially all studied all those, you probably studied those around the same time. And yeah, it will go away. But unfortunately, there is not much you can do except setting a daily limit on the review if you're fine with that.
Well, it's in Japanese but it's the setting at the top. You need to uncheck and set a daily limit for the reviews.
Just to be sure, pop open menu > settings > vocabulary, and make sure the "what kanji to show in vocabulary" is as you'd expect it (most likely, both checked). There is a very rare bug where those get unchecked and things go temporarily crazy.
It is also possible that there was simply a "bubble" of reviews that appeared due to the merge, and it's just now reaching you.

Thanks a lot! I guess the reason is that the N5 vocabulary was marked as known from the beginning, as I came to Renshuu after some time studying, so yeah, seems that this bubble reached me.
