On any schedule: You can go "Settings" > "More settings" > and turn on "Don't learn new terms until daily review is finished". This makes it so you can do all of your daily reviews and then decide if you want to add any new terms. I'd also put "New terms per quiz" itself at a much lower value (maybe 2-3) so you have more control over how many new term you choose to study.

For your Grammar schedule: Do you have this setting on? : "Show multiple questions for each grammar expression in a single quiz"

It tends to add a lot of questions to Grammar quizzes. When I was still doing grammar on renshuu that setting made it unbearable :D

PS: Keep your new term lower for some time and only do reviews. It's important that you complete all of your daily reviews since that's optimal for SRS (Spaced Repetition).

Could you tell use exactly which reviews are bothering you? Is it vocab (words) or grammar? Looking at your profile, I'd guess grammar

Edit: Ok, I think you're learning way too much new grammar. I'd slow that down to 1-2 expressions a day at most. Grammar questions also tend to feel very "heavy", so having to do 50 grammar questions feels 10x worse than 50 vocab questions. At least to me.
