掲示板 Forums - "The quiz cannot load with your current settings" bugged kanji

I've had this problem for a while with the kanji 丼 but since it was just 1 kanji and an easy one for me I just hid it and ignored it but now it's happening with a second kanji, 妄, as well, I can do my kanji quiz normally but if not hidden, these kanji will not be included and will be left as unstudied at the end and if I try to start a quiz to study them I get this error message:

I've studied over 1000 kanji and these two are the only two I've come across so far but it's annoying having these kanji be stuck unable to be properly studied, I have onyomi, kunyomi, and reading enabled as study options and these kanji all clearly have 2 of these (although each is missing 1) so there's no reason why they shouldn't be studyable with my quiz modes.

I would definitely try what ポール mentioned - specifically, it's under the menu > settings > Kanji (category). If that doesn't fix it, let me know!

Yea - so that "don't use new system" means you are using the old one, and it is unfortunately not one I can continue to maintain and bug fix. The issue that is coming up with you is due to changes in renshuu since that system was "retired", and the old system is too odd and finicky to keep trying to patch it to handle these newer changes.

For more people, the "no extra readings" is the cleanest "change" into the new system.
