So I've been making good progress so far, almost done Hiragana actually. But about 3 days ago I was learning a new term and totally bombed it I know its going to happen but I can not get past it. (It's the letters after pe ぺ) I've found myself struggling and not being able to get through it if yall have any tips on how yall learned the that would be great. Hope yall can also help me on this one thanks. Love yall.
Btw sorry if I didn't explain to well didn't get a ton of sleep last night
.
If you could explain it a little more, i think i could help
I am done with hiragana and katakana, so i think that i could help you! Still, i don't know what do you mean
もちー, welcome to renshuu community. I‘m happy you enjoy the app and japanese.
But, please be aware, that you keep asking versions of the same question almost every day. Nothing has changed from the answers, tipps and help you have received in the past days.
Keep learning. There is no trick. It takes time.
If you forgot the detailed tipps you got earlier - there were plenty - go to the old posts and reread them with a fresh mind. Maybe there’s something you haven’t actually tried yet.
Just keep going. We‘ve all been there. We all managed. It‘ll be fine.
Hmm if you meant by the pe or be or like the dots or circles on the hiragana then just remember the hiragana and keep learning and soon you’ll learn naturally.
I'm a little bit confused on how by a lot of people ive been told how I keep asking the same questions. Maybe I'm not explaining enough or I need to change the topic names but every question ive asked has been different. I do believe that I probably didn't explain the question really well as said at the bottom of my post I was really tired which is my fault I just wanted time to get answers. But still I understand that those users saying those things are trying to help but I'm really not seeing where I'm asking these specific questions twice 😅. Actually after I wrote this post I did think that once you finished hiragana it might replace it with another set of terms perhaps. But I don't know if that post was meant to sound how I picked it up at the end. Saying "We all managed. It'll be fine" And I'm not trying to focus on the negatives on what that post said I'm just a little confused by the post and if ive missed something.
Sorry if you put this on alert.
Edit By the way what I was talking about in the first post was how letters started combining like (Jo じょ).
I don’t think any new tips are necessarily going to help you at this point. And since you’re specifically asking about combination kana (yōon), I am assuming you are already comfortable recognizing the individual kana shapes.
So it’s probably just a matter of practicing them regularly until your recognition ability becomes automatic.
Follow the link named "Resources" then "Japanese lessons"; and you will get a list of lessons, you can enable them in the order they are listed; the three hiragana and katakana lessons will explain what it is, and how to read and write it.
That is important, because all Japanese pronounciation in all the following lessons will be writen in kana.
Then click on "Japanese basics", you can click on the large "add to dashboard" button, and you will have on your dashboard several "Japanese basics" sections (for grammar, vocabulary and kanji) and you can do lessons and revies from there.
At first, just let the renshuu application feed you the words and grammar points; later, when you are more at ease, you can start adding your own words/grammar points from the dictionnary, as you find them on material you read.
It took me a long time to learn kana (mainly because I was slacking) but I would say it’s fairly easy! For me a really helpful thing I did was play those speed kana games, they were fun and it helps you memorize and recognize them easier. I don’t know if this is helpful but this is one way I learned!
