270 words below 266 and 268 words!?
Looks like a slight lag/desync between the client and the server. Give it a minute or refresh the page. That always fixes it for me.
I don't have access to the code, but these things are often very difficult to fix. "Difficult" as in annoying and time-consuming.
This is correct. So, when you add a word, it gives you one more in the list. However, the ranks themselves are updated ..every few minutes (rankings are not quite so vital that I want to rebuild the sorted list every time a word is played), so it can slip out of place sometimes.
