Since this is my first post, I'd like to thank you all, and specifically you, Kao and Michael, for this great project. I can understand how much of an endeavour keeping Renshuu alive for so long can be and am very grateful for having been able to study Japanese here.
To give you a heads-up, I've been on holiday for about two weeks now and didn't get much of a chance to keep up with my Renshuu schedules over this time.
I froze my schedules at the beginning and kept unfreezing one of them whenever I had a bit of time to spare for learning.
To my surprise, after two or three of such times, the review counter reset and I couldn't keep reviewing any of the terms in the schedule. I unfroze the rest of them and all of them followed suit. I thought that maybe it was just temporary and gave it a day for a new learning day to come, but that didn't help and the schedules remain broken. I can, of course, use the focused review feature, but I would much prefer my schedules to be back to normal.
Furthermore, schedule health screens suggest that nothing needs reviewing which can't be true. There are still plenty terms whose mastery rating is way below 70.
Has anyone experienced this? If you're reading this, Michael, could you rollback my schedules to, say, 6th of September?
Thanks for the reports. I have family visiting, so I do not have as much time to respond to things, and I apologize for the delay.
For everyone that is chiming in with "me too" - giving me specifics (screenshots, names of schedules, etc.) helps - it's very hard to look into a "me too" issue, because usually these issues do not affect everything in the schedule. Dates are especially important - presuming that everyone here froze their schedules, I need to know things like:
1. Did you freeze the account, or just one or more schedules
2. (to the best that you can recall) - when did you freeze and unfreeze.
To the OP: I usually do not have "roll back to date xx" functionality - renshuu stays slim, data-wise, and simply cannot keep backups of that level that can be easily accessed.
There is probably something I can do, and I'm looking into it today!
I only froze individual schedules, not the whole account.
Affected schedules:
- Intermediate Words (N3)
- Kanji
- Intermediate Grammar (N3)
My other schedules, which I never froze, work normally.
I first noticed the issue on September 17. I believe I froze the affected schedules around September 16 and unfroze them shortly afterwards, but I don’t remember the exact time.
Since then, the number of reviews fluctuates dramatically from day to day — sometimes almost nothing is due, then a huge number suddenly
For me, I didn't took a photo beforehand, but it definitely looked like this except my made schedule "Naruto" had 2-3 words to review. So I decided to give them all focused review and next day it fixed. > From the time to be freezed and be unfreezed it was 1 day. > I froze all of these schedules.
It does, thank you. It seems like some schedules are still broken, but a few of them look like they're back to normal. I haven't had much time to do reviews, so I'm not sure if they're going to go back to normal as I carry on with the reviews, or they're still going to remain broken. I'll keep you updated.
Some time (a few days) after unfreezing the schedules it turned into the issue described in the topic linked by ルッカルッカ, where the schedules' review counter was set to review all of the schedule's terms on one day. Now, the schedules' health screens suggest that about 2/3 need reviewing now and 1/3 can be reviewed later.
I froze all of the schedules (not the account) on 6 September, kept unfreezing Words for Beginner Japanese on and off for about a week and then unfroze all the rest about 15 or 16 September.

I'm away with family, so time is at a minimum (but I *am* still working - that's just the way of renshuu, so please don't feel bad asking/responding), but I'd like to try and keep helping with this. Can you highlight which schedules are still having issues, with screenshots of what you're seeing?
For me the problem is solved I think. I just did not freeze the schedule anymore and am now back at a manageable amount.
Unfortunately I do not have screenshots, but I only froze my "Words N5+N4+N3" schedule. I would do one set of 40 in the morning and then in the evening if I felt too tired I would freeze it, that's around 23:00 CET with having 03:00 CET as the schedule reset time.
If I recall correctly this happened on the 15th and 17th. But I could be off by a day.
So I would have ~200 terms do 40 in the morning and freeze in the evening. Next day I would have 0 with the day thereafter ~350.

Pre-Intermediate Kanji (N4)
I might be partially at fault, however, for slacking too much. I noticed that after doing one review session of Pre-Intermediate Kanji (N4), the daily goals for the schedule improved, so maybe it's just a matter of picking up momentum?
