The evolution system is fun and a great thing for my motivation, but I chose for my first evolution one that isn't what I'd prefer (call me sexist but it looks girly with all due respect). Will the next evolution give me up options to fully change the aesthetic of my かおちん, or just slight additions/changes from the path I've already set myself on? (And yes, I do know I can reset it) Thanks
No, your kao will remain with all the choices you chose at previous levels, so if you are unhappy with how it looks at the moment, you can go back and press the jump back five levels button. You can also just wait until this kao is evolved to level one hundred and then start a new kao :)
The main "characteristic" of what you pick will usually be present at max level. For example, I have two where the only difference is the eyes.
It won't stay a white blob, but whatever it becomes will most likely have "girly" eyes. I believe that comes from picking "Cute", but I can never remember all of the choices XD

I'm pretty sure the "girly" eyes come from picking flashy, not cute, because I chose cute for my first evolution of kao, and it just has the regular kao face :)

Only 3 out of my 11 Kao-chan are from the "regular" path, so I have a hard time remembering the branches for it.
