Hi guys,
Something I've noticed in my quizzes that I'll hit a word/kanji I can't really recall, but once I see the answer choices, I can often get it right by recognizing the correct one or eliminating the obviously wrong ones.
How do you handle this situations? Do you use “Don’t know”?
I would love to hear what you think.
People take different approaches. There is a pinned thread on this topic with some discussion that offers different perspectives.
I do use "don't know", because I failed to actively recall the answer. Recognition is great, but I care more about training my active recall.
