Hello! I absolutely love this site! 8) The schedules are really helpful. I'm looking forward to studying more Japanese and progressing to JLPT N1! OK, maybe I'll start with JLPT N5 ::)

I'm not really 'new' here, I've been here for a year or so, but I never introduced myself.
My name is Melody. I'm from the USA. I'm working on JLPT N5 for the time being, hoping take that test in my future.
Hello everyone! I'm Nick, I'm 29 and I'll be going to Japan in December to sight see.
Please excuse the poor Japanese above but I've been here for awhile, just converted to pro last month and now have been trying to brush up and get focused on learning the language again :)
I'd been hesitant to say hello for whatever reason but... hey! :D
Welcome to the site! I love talking to the users, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any problems, questions, concerns, or ideas regarding renshuu!
Hi everyone! My name is Riyu. My mom is Okinawan and my father is American. I lived in Okinawa from 2005 to 2006, but my Japanese is quite limited. Also, lately I have been studying Mandarin Chinese, so I've forgotten a lot of Japanese. Well, that's it, yoroshiku onegaishimasu!
And there you have it. ;D I shudder to think about how much of that was written incorrectly, but I take small steps to improve everyday. I have been quite successful when taking practice JLPT tests for Levels 4 and 3 but I'm just afraid to take the real thing. :P
My mom didn't teach me much when I was growing up; she actually spent most of her life in the Philippines and knows Tagalog and other dialects there best [grandma was an immigrant]. And since I lived mostly stateside, it was important that I use English from kindergarten on up. So I am taking it upon myself to learn now, and get in better touch with my roots. I do like Okinawan dialect too, and I know a few phrases, but once I get a better grasp of Japanese I intend to become more familiar with Okinawan dialect.
Nice to meet you! ;D I'm Lieke, 21 years old, and I live in the Netherlands. I'm studying Japanese as a major at university, and last year I studied in Japan for a year. I've been studying for three years now, and I passed the JLPT N2 last summer, but I want to try N1 next time. I hope I can do it, it seems difficult.. :-\
I'm happy to have discovered this website, because it seems like a useful and reliable place to review vocabulary and kanji. It's the best I've seen so far!
はじめまして!みそ と 言った。 今三年生 だ。 どうぞ よるしくおねがいします。 Hello, you can call me Miso! Currently, i attend Silver Creek High School and am part of the Thunderously Hip Silver Creek Japanese Program. (ばんざい!) I took Level 4 (now known as N5) last year and missed by 3 points :-[. This year I'm taking Level 3 (N4) and I'm determined to pass ;D. Hopefully I can go to Japan in the summer through my school program, my older bro did it and he said it was awesome! Nice to meet you!
Nice to meet you. My Japanese name is Chieko (lol). I love Japanese culture. My Japanese is weak. Please look after me!
Although I studied Japanese in the past, I have forgotten a lot of it because I haven't been able to speak with anyone in a while. I'm reviewing my lessons using this great site. Feel free to message me if you need any support!
By now I'm sure you've seen me around. I didn't know this thread existed until yesterday..so yeah. 今で私を見たことがあうだろう。 昨日までこれについて知りませんでした。
My username is Akiko-chan, but my real name is Genevieve. But because Genevieve is near impossible to say in Japanese, I chose a Japanese name. ユーザーネームは秋子ちゃんですけど、本物の名前はジェネヴィヴだけど、日本語の発音はむりですから、この名前を決めました。 I've been studying Japanese in varied fervor for the past 4.5 years. I'm studying for either JLPT N3 or N4, I haven't decided which yet. XD Because N4 would be easy, but N3 would be a challenge. 四年半で何とか日本語を勉強していた。 JLPTのN3かN4のために勉強していますけど、まだ決めていません。 My Japanese interest lie in Jpop, anime, and history. My favorite Jpop group is NEWS and my favorite anime is Durarara!!
Nice to meet you! My name is Robert, but you can call me Rob. I started studying Japanese 5 years ago. My major at college was Japanese and Economics, but I can't speak Japanese very well... I took level N4 of the JLPT in December. I still don't know if I passed or not. (They said the will tell us in March) Well then, I plan to study my hardest with everyone. Lets do our best! ~Rob
Hello. I'm Ulas from Turkey. I'm 33 and I'm a graduate of Japanese. I'm working in a travel agency. Some years ago, I managed to pass the old 1-kyu of JLPT, but I doubt if I can now. Well, I liked renshuu.org very much and joined its forum too. Nice to meet you.
Hello! My Name is Catherine and I'm 22 years old. Originally I'm from Luxembourg, but right now I'm attending university in Berlin. However in April I'm gonna move to Tokyo in order to continue my studies at a specialist fashion school over there. About two years ago I studied Japanese for six month at a language school in Tokyo. Unfortunately due to my busy schedule at school, I neglected my Japanese studies a bit recently. So I think it's time for me to focus on my Japanese studies again before I'll leave for Tokyo. Right now I'm mainly concentrating on material for the N3 and N2 JLPT test. Well, that's it... from hereafter I'm gonna study hard, and I hope you'll do too:)
