Obviously we are all here learning Japanese, but I was wondering what other languages do you also know.
English - Native
Chinese Cantonese - Fluent (can't read or write though). Learnt since I was really young.
Japanese - Intermediate? xD
French and German. Learnt them in High School for a few years but completely forgotten them, apart from the basics since I haven't used them for a long time..... So it doesn't really count for me I guess.
English is my first language, but I've studied Spanish, Ancient Hebrew, and Old English in addition to Japanese...with varied amounts of success and retention :-[
In my case it would be just:
Spanish - Native
English - Started studying when I was really young, however I may have an accent issue since it's somewhat difficult to find someone to talk to.
Japanese - Baby level (No really, my grammar is so bad I would have trouble talking to a kid, a really young kid)
And a couple others like Latin and French which I took for a short amount of time, and are already in the recycle bin... :-[
English is my first language, and I studied French and Latin for about as long as I've been studying Japanese, but with considerably less diligence (and, at the time, no SRS!), so the amount I remember is really negligible. I took Ancient Greek and Mandarin classes for a few months each, but I think I've forgotten so much they probably shouldn't count. :-[
English, Hindi, Tamil, Marathi - more or less equally fluent at all of them, native level.
Japanese - well, intermediate I guess...
There are a couple of other languages that I can read/write and understand, but can't really speak so wouldn't count those. :-[

Hi and Wow ^^
English and French - bilingual native languages
Spanish - native level
Japanese - advanced level
Korean - I still know how to read despite only taking one semester back in 2006. I hope to study this again at some point in my life.

That's right. But I will probably go back to HK pretty soon.
For me, the question is not "What other languages do you speak?" but "What other languages have you studied?". You're all so accomplished! I, on the other hand, have dabbled at a few, but can't really speak any other than English (and now a little Japanese).
English: Native language and I'd like to think I have a pretty good grasp on it (thank goodness!).
French: 3 years, Elementary school. I can count to ten, tell you to stand up, sit down, shut the window & shut your big mouth :P
German: 2 years, High School. I can count to ten.
Spanish: 1 year, College. I can count to ten (see a pattern here?).
Japanese: self-study, off and on over the past 5 years. While I probably still couldn't pass N5 :-\, I think I'm making progress (and I'm having fun!).
English is my native language. I studied Spanish in high school, and am somewhat comfortable with reading it. Through self-study, I know some French, Swedish, Japanese, and Sanskrit.
Dutch (native) and English (though it is kinda rusty) and I had German and French in school, but can't speak it at all since I am kinda bad in languages. (What the hell am I doing trying to learn Japanese?!)
Wow, so many people here seem to be really into languages. I always had a tough time studying, guess my teachers sucked :-[ The only fun language ever was (and still is) Japanese.(^-^)b
German: native
English: after 9 years of English classes in school I could at least read it; really only learned it afterwards, people understand me now I guess ;)
French: 3 or 4 years in highschool, can count to 10 or so
Japanese: self-study on and off for a couple of years, speak nothing, write little, understand some; My friend says, I'm better than I think, that's why I'm headed for N3 in December. :-\
I'm a native English speaker, but my parents claim that Mandarin Chinese was my first language. My Chinese now is pretty much shot since I have no exposure to it, but my parents have sent me to Chinese school and I took some classes in HS and University. I've also studied Latin in middle and high school for around 6 years, but pretty much forgot most of it. Japanese would have to be my best language after English, but compared to the others that's not saying much ^^;
I like to say I speak Chipanglish XD
