I'm trying to collect information on this bug, so let me know if it's happened to you.
I use the keyboard exclusively when doing vocab schedules: a mix between fill-in-the-blank and multiple choice. Occasionally, the shortcuts (either to display the answers or to select 1 through 4) will just stop working. If I finish that question with the mouse, the next question will work fine.
Anyone else experiencing this? If so, are you doing just multiple choice or do you have fill-in-the-blank too? I'm particularly interested if it's happening to anyone who does just multiple choice. Because I do fill-in-the-blank, my keyboard is in japanese-IME mode the entire time the quiz runs, and I'm curious as to if that is causing the problems somehow.
I haven't seen this problem in a while. I used to get it fairly regularly, but lately it hasn't happened to me. I do primarily multiple choice, but occasionally do fitb. It hasn't run fitb questions at me in the last few days, but if it does, I'll let you know if this happens.
Speaking of shortcuts, could there possibly be a shortcut to start a quiz? Both from the main schedule page and from the "new items" page (or whatever it's called when it introduces new stuff that will appear in the quiz).
Actually, while we are on the subject, what about a shortcut to submit the answer? For example, when you have to select 3 of the 4 kanji to match a certain reading, it's kind of annoying to have to use the mouse or tab a bunch of times over just to get to the submit answer button. Anyway to make a shortcut on the keyboard to press it? I don't think enter works...
EDIT: Sorry, I never answered the question. No, I haven't run into that problem with the shortcuts that stop responding.
Do you think the shortcut should be available for all the quiz modes, even the ones that require mouse movement for clicking or dragging? If not, all I need to do is adjust the one specific mode that you're talking about.

Personally, I don't need one for the dragging mode. I just think it's a cool feature so I'm fine without shortcuts for those types of questions.
I have no idea how you would go about assigning shortcuts on those click and drag questions- it probably wouldn't be easy or graceful, though.
I had a fitb/multi-choice quiz today, and the shortcuts did stop working, but that could also have been on my end- it was on a 8-y.o. comp running IE6.
Well, it wasn't that I wanted to assign shortcuts to the movable stuff, but just to the 'submit' button on those questions; but then, if your hand is already on the mouse, I'm not sure you'd need a keyboard shortcut.
Yeah, for that kind of question, a shortcut just for the submit button seems a little unnecessary.
I've been running mixed fitb and mc questions the last few days and haven't had any problems with shortcuts while on modern comps running modern browsers.
I like the shortcut on the vocab page; thank you for that. Would it also be possible to get one for the "始める" button on the main schedule page? You could just use the same 's' key for that as well.
