I'm going to travel to Japan in December, for the first time on my own. One thing I remember as being difficult without a more knowledgable person around was menus. So I wanted to do a bit of studying for food/restaurant terms in particular, and I had a look around the user-made lessons, but either there aren't any or I am looking in the wrong place.
Does a vocab set like this exist on Renshuu? Any other tips re: knowing-what-I-order preparation?
Thanks!
Alright - here's the deal! You make this list, and it isn't absolutely awful, you get a free month of renshuu pro.
Requirements: at least 40 words.
Contents: please include a mix of the following:
a) words used in conversing with waitstaff
b) words (sizes, options, etc) often seen in menus/restaurants
c) (I realize this is a HUGE category) some of the most, most common foods in Japanese restaurants.
I'll give the month to the first pubic lesson I see submitted for approval through the site's user-made lessons.
Any other questions as to the contents, please direct them to kjulia28.
