Basically, what gets taught through high school. Also what publications are typically allowed to print without furigana, as it is assumed they are common knowledge. [b]Jinmei-you:[/b] Kanji allowed for use in names. [b]Kokuji:[/b] Kanji created for use in Japanese; may or may not have been imported back into Chinese. It includes some common kanji (e.g. ), some geographical features (e.g. ) or flowers, and several deprecated ones for identifying measurements (e.g. for "decameter", for "kilometer", etc.).

Thanks Kaji,I think I will not go into the other two until I'm done with Jouyou kanjis :)
