IMO some vocabulary terms like 小川, たたみ, みそ, きゅうしゅう, えいきゅう should have their definitions changed so that there is no romaji in it.
For example, instead of
(noun) tatami mat (Japanese straw floor coverings)
It should be
(noun) a kind of mat (Japanese straw floor coverings)
Or the like. Since saying a tatami is a tatami and "miso" is a miso soup is not only redundant but also gives away the answer in def->kanji and def->kana questions.
Thanks - we usually handle these on a case-by-case basis as they come up. I'll take care of the ones you just mentioned. Anytime one comes up, the *fastest* way for have the change to occur is to hit the pencil icon that appears next to the definition and suggest a new definition. There is a back-end page of the site set up for me to quickly verify and process suggestions made this way.
Thanks!
