Exams Talk: JLPT, Kanji Kentei

I am wondering what is difference between JPLT and Kanji Kentei? Is either one of them is harder or?
The JLPT is a proficiency test for Japanese aimed at foreigners, and covers vocabulary, kanji, grammar, writing, and listening. The Kanji Kentei is a proficiency test made for native Japanese that specifically covers kanji (and by extension, vocab that uses that kanji). Since they're so different, it's hard to say that one is harder than the other.
Personally, I'd say the JLPT is more difficult than the Kanken since the JLPT requires that you have so much more knowledge about the Japanese language, whereas Kanken only requires that you can remember kanji and vocab. However, JLPT is all multiple choice whereas Kanken you actually have to write the kanji/kana for half the test.
