I was really happy before, and could study anywhere there was WiFi unlike other sites out there. My Nook Color uses a Dolphin Mozilla-type browser and Renshuu was working great on it, no need to re-root or crack or hack anything to make it work. My BlackBerry, same thing. The only japanese study site I have been using. Before I didn't have to log in to just do a quick study, now I have to log in to see anything, no problem there really, it keeps me logged in all the time, so that's good
Now it's showing up on my Nook, but I can't get it to get past opening to see the lists of chapters. At first this wasn't working for adding to the book bag, but that seems to have been fixed. I have to turn the Nook sideways to see all the chapters of the text book I'm studying, and the dictionary side bar constantly covers up half the page. I can get rid of it in sideways mode, but not long page mode.
Once I've selected a chapter to study, and click Quiz, nothing. I waited. I clicked again thinking it was just taking too long to load and timing out. Nothing.
The Dolphin browser is an Android type thing so I'm wondering what happened. I can't side load non Barnes&Noble apps or a new browser into my Nook. Sad because my resolution was to study more Japanese this year (same as every year!) and now if I'm away from my desktop, which is a lot this past year, I can't use the Renshuu program. This is one of the few remaining sites that doesn't say "buy the App" and leave you hanging so I'm really hoping this is a temporary thing. I also know how absolutely mind fraying it is to program a site to work properly across all platforms, but can this be cured at all?
Thank you.
