Hi guys,I was wondering if you know any English <-> Japanese dictionary that I could use offline from my computer in case my connection provider decides to leave me without connection for few hours
Today I found and Downloaded Wakan, which among others uses the JEDICT dictionary database, problem is that the program is not under development enymore so is kind of "rough",at the point you can't input kanji,if you want to search vocabs by kanji you have to write them down on notepad, copy them into the clipboard and tell the program to search from your clipboard...not the smoothest process around.
So,do you guys know any solid alternative?! :)
Tagaini Jisho is available for Windows, too. I also found Takoboto.
Thanks for the links :D
Just tried Tagaini Jisho, unfortunately it doesn't have the example sentence pack Wakan has,but it makes up giving the ability to input kanji, performing searches by radical like on jisho.org and also show the animated & color coded stroke order,so really awesome! I'll keep both,Wakan for the example sentences feature just in case I need some
You're right,that's awesome,thanks! ;)
Basically it does what the other do,but it also has the example sentences,so all in one place :D
Also I love how interactive it is,like you click a word in the example sentence and you can jump to that word and relative examples and so on :D
Only thing is I can't understand is how to make a group of word for study using zkanji, there is any tutorial online about it? :S
