Did you clean out the game? The latest shiritori seem to have only a few terms now, and my in-game hanko are gone.
Didn't clear, added a few more manually, so it didn't have an alert like usual. Did not erase the previous ones, they should still be there!
Yeah, I noticed the same thing in one of the old topics a while ago. Originally it wasn't even possible to enter such a word.
Maybe they can program in some sort of bypass for this error. Clearly, the fix they have now doesn't work.
Thanks for reporting it. Will let you know when the issue is resolved (most likely later today).
I've removed the offending word, and made some additional changes to the code. If anyone can reproduce the issue repeatedly, be sure and let me know, thanks!
The game titled 2016! seems to be bugged. The last word does not extend the previous word. Interestingly, this is not shown on my phone and I was wondering why I recieved notifications that I "cannot use a word that overlap the previous 2 word"
Previously (same game) I received a notification that I have to choose a word starting with な although the last letter is clearly く.
It seems as if it is always lima who is able to somehow get しいん accepted. I tried to do the same via PC and mobile but the system is always blocking my attempt as an ん is not allowed.
I would thus suggest to contact lima to find out how they are able to get しいん accepted by the system.
Back from work trip. Reached out to the user causing the issue, and I know what is causing the らく issue. Will fix sooner than later, but wanted to at least leave a message for now since it's been so long since I've responded.
User adds a na-adjective with the na attached, such as らくな. The site strips the particle from the end, but it forgot to recheck the last character. So even though the last word was らく, the shiritori game itself was asking for な. :)
You're free to enter it with one, but the site might strip it off depending on how the word is stored in the dictionary. I wouldn't worry too much on your end.
