Im trying to use renshuu on my S8 and it just blank, I could open the sidebar but thats it, Im also on Android 9.

Oh wow, that's strange. Aside from reinstalling it, I'd suggest the following:

1. Long press on icon for app, choose to view details

2. Go to cache/storage section of details.

3. Clear storage

4. Re-login to account.
