What the title says. Not that much of a big deal since two were purely on review, and the other was only a couple weeks in, but it would be nice to at least get the two back to review. Specifically, I tried to reset Duolingo 2 (the one a few weeks in), and the others reset also.

Thanks for the report - I'm not sure what you mean by "reset", as I do not believe there is a "reset" button or feature.

That being said, I can jump in and say that all mastery data is saved at the term level, not the schedule level. So if you have a term in multiple schedules, the mastery level for the term will adjust regardless of which schedule you study it in. This is done so you do not waste time having to review a word that you've studied before if it appears in a new list that you are studying.

If you did something that involved adjusting the mastery levels, that may be why it appears to have "reset" in multiple places.

Let me know if I can help out any further!

Settings-more settings- advanced settings- Schedule operations- reset schedule. I'm on Android btw, dunno if it's different between versions. I did this exclusively fit the Duolingo 2 schedule yesterday.

Thanks for the offer, but do far it's kinda nice getting repeats, just got a few seconds extra review. If it's possible, could you set Duolingo and Starter Kanji so that all terms are marked as learned? Thanks!

I had forgotten about that button, sorry! I did check on it, and it only affects a single schedule, but if a term is in multiple schedules, that term will be "reset" everywhere, since the mastery data is stored within the term itself.

There is a way to do what you're asking for, though!

1. Go to Learn > Japanese Index

2. Choose "Add words (or switch to kanji, etc.)", then choose the schedule you want to work with

3. Under Actions, go to Mastery Level and you can set a new mastery level.

Now, keep in mind that this will change everything in the schedule. So if you want to only adjust the ones that have been reset, you can (between steps 2 and 3) add a filter, go to mastery level, and filter on 0% (to 0%) mastery level terms. That'll pick out all the new ones.
