An odd request maybe, but I'd like a green beans plant, because I watched a documentary about the mayans and they always planted corn, beans and pumpkin together because the plants benefitted each others growth. And right now I'm only lacking the beans.

Could we have a jack-and-the-beanstalk variety of bean that has a rare chance of producing a skyscraper?

I think it would be super cute if kao could have a younger sibling!

Any ideas on non-living objects to add for Spring? We've got a pretty healthy list of plants/veggies/fruits/pets.

Things that you don't have to grow ...that list is much shorter.

A wheelbarrow, a potting shed, a garden hose, a bird feeder, a grill, a bee hive, a bike for kao-chan, a sandbox, a red wagon, a skateboard…

This is all off the top of my head. Some of it may exist already.

I am also looking forward to seeing what happens to the skating pond. I will be disappointed if it stays frozen after winter ends.

My ideas are not strictly spring items. I would like lanterns, both hanging ones as well as standing ones (the kind on a pole with the red houses on top you see at temples). Also a Bento Box might be nice. Also maybe a little food stall where the rabbits are selling the finished mochi? I also like such a multi storied high temple (the kind you see in tokyo at the temple in asakusa). Maybe also koinoboris? A garland with rain ghosts for the house would also be cute.

Then some wishes that are more from the area of landscaping. I'd like some big rocks or boulders and a river or a moat.

btw I would actually prefer the rabbit stays ice skating in summer.

Oh, and a bridge would be lovely! I realize the water features are not easy to do since it would have to be a one size fits all, but it could be really simple, the bridge could also lead across a lake or simply across the lawn.

I don't know if it would be possible to do the river as a kind of build your own style where you buy like straight or curved parts and put them together as you please...

actual water features would be nice, but..not yet - they would need some programming to get them in there, not as simple as adding a new item in the store.

A red and/or white paper lantern that you can hang on the house, shrine or in the trees. 🏮

Edit: oh, haha. I read someone else had the same idea.

Would Easter eggs be good for spring? Maybe they can even "move around" like pets do so you have to find them each day!

Are you planning to put out some spring decorations soon?

Also, are you planning on making the snow stop?

YES!!!

Probably no Easter Eggs - we tend to stick to things that are either Japanese, or you could probably find in Japan without looking *too* hard. Easter - not so much.

Ah, OK. I thought it might be as common as Halloween or Christmas.

Plus I have a lot of うさぎ in my garden, so it might have been funny 😄

I'm surprised too, I think Japanese people would probably love easter eggs, they're so kawaii!

This discussion makes me realize I’ve never even learned the term for Easter. The dictionary offers (Festival of the Resurrection), but I suspect イースター (from Easter Island) or even (Spring Equinox Day) might work better in practice. The celebration of spring is most closely tied to (hanami), but the best date to view cherry blossoms varies by region and from year to year.

I would like to request an option to turn snow on.or off. The places where it's winter differ across te world and I personally am more than ready to change to spring. (Not just virtually.) But I can imgine other ppl love the snow.
