You can start studying kanji any time, but recommended you check the "Kanji Basics" lesson first if you're new to it ("Learn">"Japanese Basics", last lesson).

To start studying right away, you can click on "Manage your schedules" on your dashboard, and then click the "Make a schedule" button. You can either pick from one of Renshuu's premade kanji schedules, or you can make your own to fill with your own lessons or individual kanji you want to learn.

In the Lesson Centre (under the "Learn" menu) is where you find lessons to put in your schedule if you're making your own. Search for something specific or click on one of the quick searches, and then select the "Kanji" tab to see kanji lessons. When viewing lesson lists, clicking the flag icon next to "Study" will add that lesson to your "Me" page in the lesson centre to bookmark it for later, or you can add it directly to a schedule by clicking the calendar.
