I have been using this website to learn Japanese for a few months now and I think it is amazing! I just had a couple feature requests . My first is for the schedules on the dashboard. I can see they are grouped by subject (vocabulary, kanji, grammar, sentences) and I think within those groups they are alphabetical, but I am not sure. I like to study the schedules I got first and then move up to the newer ones. Can you add a way to reorder the schedules on the dashboard or maybe add the option to order them by by date added?
My next request is for Kao Garden. After finding out that plants can have multiple variations I have been trying to find them all! This means growing a lot of the same flowers and results in having a bunch of copies of the same plant that I have to scroll through when I go to set a specific plant in a planter. I was wondering if instead of every copy of the same plant taking up a space in the dialogue box, it could instead have one of each variant with like a "x6" next to it to indicate how much of that flower variant you have. It's not much of a problem now since there aren't too many plants yet, but the dialog has already been filled with tulips and I can see this becoming an incremental issue.
As best I can tell, schedules are ordered alphabetically. I like your idea of being able to specify an order, but in the meantime, you can control the order by renaming your schedules.
I'll be happy to take a look at that stacking issue in the next few days.
Now that I've had a chance to look at it - I can definitely get this done, but due to the way that the system was set up, it's not the easiest change to make. I'll definitely take a crack at it in the next few days.
It was fortunately easier than I thought! There may be a few bugs, but the display should be much tidier now.
Wow! Thanks! It's a lot easier to scroll through now. There does seem to be something going on with one of my turnips.
Those last three turnips appear to be the same. I even checked the image file and they are both turnip_3_1.png, but only two of them are stacked for some reason.
Nope
I tried planting all the turnips and then removing the plot they were in, but that didn't fix it either.
It just so happens that some more turnips matured today, so I put them away to see what would happen.
So that's a bit weird
Unfortunately it's still the same. It's a bit weird it's only the turnips doing it.
Well, this is embarrassing! I made the fix, typed out the "upload to renshuu" command, and had forgotten to press enter. It's working now.
