I may have asked this before, but what is the difference between しまう and 終える?

the closest thing I could find on the internet was that てしまう/ちゃう had a slightly "negative" nuance, compared to the more neutral 終える.

終える is to finish, but しまう can be to finish, to put away, or used to indicate regret. Here's the grammar associated with しまう
