Is there any implication with this grammatical structure that A is more significant/important/obvious than B, or are A and B of equal importance?
Checked with a Japanese grammar dictionary (for Japanese teachers) - there is no inherent weight difference between the two. The only thing I noticed that was different is that the subject/topic is introduced in A, and is typically not repeated in B.
Could this be translated as "on top of that"?
I'd think a more appropriate translation would be "in addition,".
In the third example sentence's translation, the town should have beautiful beaches, not peaches. 😊
