Hi,

Can this grammar point be used for な-adjectives and verbs (in casual form) ?

Checking a Japanese grammar dict. It has na-adj as well, but doesn't give any examples with verbs in them. Updating the usage patterns!

Just to point out, this grammar is in マスターN2, so they treat it as a N2 grammar.

But I think there is no official JLPT grammar list, so just an extra info.

It also gives an example with verb (10, p.46, 2.3):

のわたしのちですか。そうですねえ。退してほっとしたというかしいというか、です。」

ほっとする seems to be an "onomatopoeic or mimetic word" (jisho.org) and weblio
