Hi,
Can this grammar point be used for な-adjectives and verbs (in casual form) ?
Checking a Japanese grammar dict. It has na-adj as well, but doesn't give any examples with verbs in them. Updating the usage patterns!
Just to point out, this grammar is in 新完全マスターN2, so they treat it as a N2 grammar.
But I think there is no official JLPT grammar list, so just an extra info.
It also gives an example with verb (10課, p.46, 2.3):
「今のわたしの気持ちですか。そうですねえ。退職してほっとしたというか寂しいというか、複雑です。」
ほっとする seems to be an "onomatopoeic or mimetic word" (jisho.org) and weblio
Thanks for the example sentence. Verified it, and adjusted the usage!
From ゼッタイ合格! 日本語能力試験完全模試 N2 (sorry not sure of the name of the book)
I found a exemple with a なadj :
硬いというか地味というか、目立たない。
