I wish I had dreams about flying. In all my dreams so far, I've always been on the ground. Now that I think about it, I've had dreams in which other people were flying. Now I'm jealous. Is it weird to be jealous of dream people?

I always find it funny what some people dream about and other people don't. Some people think other people's dreams are super weird but like everyone has different dreams. I honestly don't tell my mom many dreams anymore because she always thinks what I dream about must reflect me or something She's always like "What? Why would you dream about that?" And she wonders why I don't talk to her about stuff

Yeah though XD I've never had a flying dream either, maybe it has something to do with mental health? all my dreams are really weird like I said earlier XD and often I'm running for my life in some way.. I guess that's what makes it fun though?

My mother is the queen of awkward questions, I don't talk much with my mother either. It must be a parenting requirement to make all conversations insufferable.

I love the Ancient Magus' Bride
I remember when Libby was trying to get manga, but they only had the first volume of a couple last I checked, it's cool they got more though

Doesn't what Libby does or doesn't have depend on location? If I remember correctly, don't you currently live in Japan? Do you have a Japanese library card? Does Japan also have Libby? Sorry for all the questions. Also, if all the questions are answered yes, is it possible to get a library card for a library in Japan if you live in America? Probably not, but a library enthusiast can dream.

I don't have a Japanese library card yet cos I think I need a student ID or something to get one.. so Libby stopped working for me after awhile. It worked until a couple weeks ago actually so I lived the dream for a bit there I have the Open Source library though so I can read some books still. I'm pretty sure you can't get a Japanese library card in America sorry I think you can use Libby still here though if you have an active library card so that's good at least.

Where I live, I don’t use Libby. I use something called Hoopla that’s only used in a certain spot in Oregon. It’s also got a pretty extensive manga collection

Nah I don't think so. I often have dreams where there's creepy buildings and I get lost or like, there are creepy bad guys or whatever. Also when I was little I had a lot of dreams where there were weird stairs and like they were super precious or there were stairwells everywhere. And usually in dreams like that I'm so dumb I can't figure anything out and I just kind of wander around being stupid.

You see I think it's all because of stuff irl. When I was a kid a was scared of creepy buildings and I was always paranoid creepy bad guys were everywhere. Also the stairs in my house are too steep, in fact they're against the code (bc it's an old house).

True that my library had a tiny section called "comics" and almost a third of it was marvel or other obscure graphic novels

and I had to get a ton of manga through Mobius cos they never carried the entire series

Usually when my dreams are in a building, it’s like a mixture of multiple buildings I know very well. Like I’ll walk through a door in my house and I’ll be at my school, and then walk into a classroom and it’ll be my grandparents or friends house

Sometimes I'd know where my dreams take place and sometimes it's a place completely made up. A lot of the time my dreams switched locations. One time I started my dream in Japan and out of nowhere I was in America again. Dreams are weird

I also used to have really bad night terrors, but I’m also over that.

When I was really young, sometimes when I'd wake up, it would look like my room was rocking back and forth and I still have no idea why it happened but it’s stopped years ago

I usually can’t remember my dreams well, usually just short clips here and there, but when I do remember them, they’re pretty boring

the most recent weird dream I had was one where I was playing my piano and it js tried to eat me! And it was in the middle of me playing a song! My piano is so rude. The rest up until me waking up was me trying to play it and then deciding it wasn’t worth the attempt after it almost bit off my hand.

i had the room rocking back and forth thing too! i wonder why it happened.

down here in Texas, we do have a comic book section/graphic novels section that is mainly manga but also has actual comics in it, i've been in those sections a lot, sometimes, depending on the library, they don't have a lot of comics or manga, they have a lot of both, or they barely have ANY manga at all. Texas is confusing. IN A LOT OF WAYS.

The difference between simple and easy is simple. It's simply not easy to define an English word without using a synonym. Simple things are not necessarily easy, and easy things aren't necessarily simple. Easy has to do with the difficulty of action being low, and simple is the complexity of something being low. Hydrogen is simple, addition is easy.

I think most dreams are weird. The closest thing I've ever had to a "happy" dream was where I could basically jump down the stairwell and I didn't have to walk. That's pretty fun. Actually, now that I'm saying it I just realized lately I've been having a ton of dreams where I could float by jumping and then kicking my legs against the air a lot (think of how Sanji does it). Except I didn't realize it was a dream any of the times and since I'd been having a bunch it just felt like it was real
I wonder if now that I realized it I'll stop having them.

I've had way too many of these kind of dreams in my lifetime. Many times, I have flew (flyed, flied? Idk, nor do I remember, words are hard :/) I have fallen, I have gotten things that I don't have, and it felt ALL SO REAL. One time, I had a dream where I had touch-screen on my laptop, and I was using it on my laptop, this was a recurring dream too, so every time I would wake up from this dream, I would just think about it for a second, and then try. It never worked .

This thread has come to the point where you can see how many people are paying attention to the conversation by watching the き points. Anyone else notice that? I always heart the comments as soon as I read them, so making the assumption that everyone else does the same(mostly accurate I think), the number of き points should be equal to the number of people who have read it.

you know I'm here? omo; h-how... I thought no one would notice meeeeee.
