This is a relatively minor aesthetic bug, but sometimes the color behind certain text will have a dark background effect when a Kao emoji is next to it:
Kao emojis also like to migrate to a new line whenever a user edits a comment. This can be a bit annoying when you're trying to edit a comment without making it longer than intended. (If anyone can verify the existence of the same bug in light mode, I would appreciate the input.)
The kao going to a new line is a shortcoming of the text editing software that renshuu uses - it would take completely replacing it with a new (and expensive) version, so while I'm aware of a few ...oddities with the text box, they'll have to stay.
That being said, I might be able to fix the coloring issue. Can you link me to a thread that has that issue?

I figured as much. It isn't a huge problem, I made the thread because I saw other users talking about it and wondered if it could be fixed without much hassle.
Ok, that is really weird. I'll see what I can do, but due to the relatively small size of the issue, I may not be able to get to it for awhile. Thanks for bringing it up, though!
