おこのみやき can be a difficult word to remember. It certainly was for me. It helps to learn the kanji: お好み焼き

好む to like, to favor

焼く to roast, to toast

It sounds like you've been to Japan! I haven't, but was just saying how I wanna try おこのみやき (okonomiyaki) there. I make it sometimes but it probably doesn't compare.

I love すし、みそスープ and ラーメン (sushi, miso soup & ramen), うどん (udon), edamame,... Green tea ice cream is yummy, too.

If I were to pick one, I'd say (Tsukemen).
It's basically ramen, if you split the noodles and broth. BUT, the tsukemen broth is stronger than ramen broth.
You dip your noodles, and because the tsukemen broth is thicker, it clings to the noodles giving it more flavour.
Then, once you're done with all the noodles, you can either order more noodles, or get a cup of rice and mix it all in the remaining broth and finish it all up. Really satisfying meal, and less messy than eating ramen.

Once you try a good tsukemen, your outlook on ramen will change.
