You don't have to draw them, you can just write about them. (Since you mentioned not having names for the characters, you can also number them or use colors to help differentiate between them.)
Ok ty bc I have tried so hard and it was so bad. (Part of the issue is I can't draw any short hair at all.) Oh no what do I start with....
Ok so there's this one main character guy, he's very good at fighting with a short blade thing and also martial arts bc when he was a kid he learned all that stuff but then a traumatic thing happened so now he fights not very well (well like not his best) and his village dissipated for mysterious reasons and now he wanders around and stuff but that's about all I can say, otherwise his personality isn't extremely special and I can't describe it very well... let's just skip to the next character he's more interesting
The next main character also had traumatic stuff happen so he ran away and now wanders around and he also is very good at fighting with a blade thing and he's kind of crabby, and also he's good at swimming (ik that doesn't really seem important) uhhh..... I can't think of much else except his backstory and stuff which I won't say and also spoilers.
Ok now the main bad guy he's way more interesting, he's really smart and also really tough he never loses a fight he can use anything for a weapon. He's like a sneaky spy and nobody realizes it, he sneaks around and finds out all kinds of stuff about everything, he has a super good memory. He has a whole compilation of all the information he knows written down. Also there's also this other guy who he works with who has lots of local political power behind the scenes and they do evil schemes.

I love seeing villain-esque characters with some actual development behind them. Do they have a reason to plot evil schemes? (I have one morally dubious AU character who sides with the villains to attain a higher social standing and security, but he's unaware that the villains are just using him as their pawn...)
Ok, so without explaining the whole plot, basically there's some lower class people in certain cities and some higher class people (I'm not really describing it right but idk how) that live in a certain place, and they have an evil scheme to get rid of some of the people in the outside cities, and his personal reason why is bc the smaller city people did stuff that made it so the important people made some decisions that off-handedly made it so his mom died. The other guy just bc he's sick of them for political reasons, not really a certain grudge
Actually I kind of made it sound like he's super sour about his mom dying he's not really, but she told him it was the small cities people's fault, and it got to his head. Plus the other guy took care of him since his Dad was evil and was not nice to him, so like he sort of does the same stuff as him bc he's sort of like the other guy's successor

Was he mislead by his mother? If the small city people are not truly at fault, I wonder what would happen if he met someone from the small city and realized they aren't all bad...
Nah, it's not really like that. They kind of are at fault but the ones in charge really like the main character doesn't know about it cos he was a kid. I think his mom was grudgful and sort of mislead him but not on purposely? Jus bc she was angry. He knows about them bc like I said he sneaks around spying on them but it's political reasons
The veriest basics maybe, I could never completely explain any of my characters bc they're all in my head I've never written them or explained them before
