How is it always so difficult to translate a simple Japanese sentence into English?!?!?!

There is also a casual (informal) construction possible:
Verb: Potential + もん + なら + Verb: たい

できるもんなら、おいしいりたい。

I got the sentence 「あのるものなら、どんなおしくはない。」
Shouldn't る be れる according to the rule that you need a potential verb?
