the following phrase often indicates an interruption of A, or something unwanted and unplanned.
Often used to describe unexpected interruptions that occur in the middle of activities of short duration e.g in the middle of a speech, in the middle of a bbq, in the middle of thinking about something (see 新完全マスター p. 12)
