『にわらず/にわりなく』diễn tả ý: dù vế trước có thế nào, có sự khác biệt gì thì cũng không quan trọng, vế sau vẫn sẽ xảy ra.
Vế trước là một cặp từ đối lập (く・かない、しい・しくない...); là một từ: thể hiện phạm vi (きさ...), bao gồm nhiều yếu tố hợp thành (...), do các yếu tố đối lập hợp thành (...); hoặc là một nghi vấn từ đi theo hình thức『Nghi vấn từ~か』.

What's the difference between this and のに in this context. Is this grammar as common のに? Thanks in advance! :D

I'd say のに is used much more commonly than this pattern, and this pattern also seems to be used for more serious things - のに might be something like かけたのにんでいてれてしまった (Even though I left early, there was traffic and I was late), にもかかわらず would be more like にもかかわらずすることができた (Despite poverty he was able to study at Tokyo University) - so のに would be more casual, にもかかわらず more serious (although I wouldn't necessarily call it more *formal*...)
