I believe だけしか with a negative verb can mean "no choice but to..."

I believe that is with the しか form only, not with だけ, as だけ puts emphasis on the noun that comes before it, and not the verb that follows しか. If you have an example that goes with your meaning, toss it up and we can take a look at it!

I've never seen it used this way without しか. I did see that しかない is interpreted this way, and だけ wouldn't be necessary in that form.
